Maestro Angel VelezAngel Velez is one of the most sought-after film and television conductors today, and a guest conductor for pop concerts around the world. He has performed world premiere concerts for hits such as Captain Marvel, Peter Pan and Wendy, Green Book, Tom and Jerry in New York, and The Book of Boba Fett. In addition to his work as a conductor for Los Angeles Studios and the Hollywood Studio Chamber Orchestra, he has served as musical director for the Los Angeles Live Score Film Festival, the American Society of Cinematographers Awards, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and one of the largest televised events in the world, Miss World 2022.He has produced concerts such as Silent Films Live, Star Wars: Past and Present, and the HBO film For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandval Story Live Concert, starring trumpet legend Arturo Sandval. He records under the Varese Sarabande and Sudwestrundfunk labels and remains active in the entertainment industry, working on shows such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: Rebels, Family Guy, Jane the Virgin, The Mandalorian and the recently released MGM superhero film Samaritan starring Sylvester Stallone, among many others.
